Short Blog 7 — Comment on Erin Jeong’s Long Blog 2

I could not agree more with everything you wrote about. I haven’t seen anything written about this (very real) issue a long time. It gets forgotten about by the vast majority for reasons like you stated, stigma and inequality. I could not name a single person that enjoys spending their money on overpriced necessities; things that a male counterpart wouldn’t need to spend money on. The idea of the school board giving them out for free was a step in the right direction, however, the idea of them being available in a school office leads me to believe that these changes were implemented by the wrong gender… A misguided step in the right direction, still far from perfect.
